Choose the best of the brackets to make your teeth look good and in place

In the field of orthodontic treatment, there are so many alternatives and various method of treatment along with a number of products which assist the brackets in the process that one might confuse while deciding which thing to opt for. Hence, in order to make things easier for doctors and especially customers, here are listed the different types of brackets and the treatments which are available for the use of the customers:

• Traditional metal wired braces: these are made of stainless steel and are sometimes also made from the metal platinum. The traditional metal braces are the most common of all the types though the cosmetic brackets are also very popular. They are structured in such a way that there are metal brackets along with rubber band (elastic ties) which hold the wire into the metal brackets. One of the other famous braces is the self- ligating braces, which do not require the elastic ties. Instead of that the wire goes through the brackets. With their help the pain during the treatment and even fewer adjustments are even required.

• Titanium braces: The titanium brace depicts the stainless steel braces and are very light but are very strong. Those people who are allergic to the nickel metal are often found to use the titanium braces but are more costly than the stainless steel ones.

• Lingual braces: These are the cosmetic alternatives in which process the custom made braces are attached to the back of the teeth so that they are externally visible. The mini implants are done to make the external visibility look good.

• Gold plated stainless steel braces: These are specially made for those people who are allergic to nickel (which is the basic component in the braces which are made of stainless steel). Such kind of braces are basically preferred by those people who want to give the look of gold on the traditional braces which are silver coloured.

• Smart brackets: The smart brackets are actually the latest kind of brackets which are under investigation. These brackets have microchips in them which are capable of applying the force on the brackets and ultimately the tooth interface. The ultimate aim of these braces is to minimize or lessen the duration of the whole orthodontic therapy and also the discomforts and expenses which are caused to the patients in the process.

• Customized orthodontic treatments: Suresmile is an example of this. It combines the high technology along with the 3D imaging, a robot to custom behind the dental wire and the treatment planning software. This is a customized treatment which offers a faster treatment process and efficient results.
